The Flight Simulator EVO XL uses the same design philosophy as the original GT Racing Cockpits but this time, utilising flight simulator peripherals! The EFFECT Simulations Flight Simulator EVO XL utilises Next Generation composite materials to achieve perfect stiffness, form factor, useability & beautiful aesthetic design.
Flight Simulator EVO XL features the following design improvements from the original GT Cockpit:
- Includes LEFT & RIGHT joystick and throttle mouting hardware.
- Updated design ensuring even more stiffness to the seat and pedal areas.
- Infinite adjustability in the seat and pedals base.
- Increased baseplate width allows the comfortable mounting of sliders for the pedals for increased adjustability between different users.
- Increased ease of access due to the real-estate around the seating and wheel-base areas.
- One piece, 21mm thick base design including aluminium end pieces for increased durability.
- 8 degree steering base featuring antiglare coating & range of compatibility options.
- LED RGB ambient lighting controlled via remote or Bluetooth (iPhone & Android compatible)
- Revised fixing/hardware kit.

Choose everything you need to start using and flying with your new simulator! The selection chosen in the drop-down menus will define your configuration.

Next Generation Materials
Inspired by true automotive and aeronautical technique, the Flight Simulator EVO XL is manufactured using next generation materials such as a Carbon Fibre construction, 3D printed components, and CNC machined parts. This gives ultimate rigidity, design without constraint, lightweight properties and beautiful aesthetic design.
Performance Driven
Working alongside a leading aerospace engineer, the Flight Simulator EVO XL has rigidity and strength built in to the core of the design. Using digital stress analysis models, the Cockpit has been tested to over 1 million test cycles using the most powerful Direct Drive wheel bases, and high force brake pedals. Throughout testing the design had a maximum deflection of only 0.67mm. All of this has been made possible, while still achieving a total mass that can be comfortably lifted by a single person.
Universal Compatibility
The cockpit is supplied with a blank seat and pedal base plate in order for compatibility to all peripherals. The base can either be easily drilled by the end user, if the Pre-Configured option is chosen then this will be done here at EFFECT Simulations HQ or in situ at your chosen address/location.
